PERSONALIZED SERVICE
Supervisors have small caseloads to devote the time necessary to provide quality services to every consumer..
TEAM APPROACH
A team is developed to provide services for each consumer. This allows for more consistency of care from the team members. Each team member has received hands-on training with each consumer and an orientation training prior to working with the designated consumer.
STAFF TRAINING - Staff receive the following trainings:
  • Agency orientation
  • Consumer specific orientation
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Dependent Adult Abuse
  • Specific training in regards to disibilities
  • All staff quarterly inservice
Quarterly training on designated topics i.e.
  • Mental Retardation
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Autism
  • Mental Illness
  • Choice Making
  • Sign Language
  • other related topics
COMMUNICATION - Consumers and families can relay information through the following:
  • One supervisor as a main contact
  • Supervisors carry pagers
  • Quarterly meetings with consumers
  • Quarterly meetings regarding each consumer
  • Log books in the home
